Account information. When you register, we collect your name, email address, password (hashed), company name, and billing information.
Usage data. We automatically collect information about how you use the Service, including pages visited, features used, migration job metadata (size, duration, target type), and error logs. We do not store the actual content of your databases.
Connection credentials. Database connection strings you provide are encrypted at rest and in transit. We use them only to perform migrations. Credentials are not stored beyond the duration of an active session unless you explicitly enable saved connections.
Device and log data. We collect IP addresses, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, and timestamps. This helps us detect security issues and improve performance.
Communications. If you contact us, we retain the content of your messages and our responses.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
- Process and complete your migration jobs
- Send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset, billing receipts)
- Send product updates and announcements (you can opt out at any time)

- Backups are purged on a rolling 90-day cycle
